Huda Al-Aithan was born in Syracuse, New York in 1991 and was raised in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. She received her MA and MFA degrees from the University of Iowa in Three-Dimensional Design with a minor in Theater Arts. Huda’s interest in design started through her passion for 3D modeling, and technology and advanced into the design of functional objects and interior spaces. She often combines the use of Artisanal Crafts and Computer Technology to transform her visual ideas into physical objects. To provide a harmonious and dynamic experience for her audience, Huda approaches design through the strong use of curves and fluid forms. She is often looking to enhance the emotional experience of her designs by using light and color. Huda’s work has been exhibited in design exhibitions in Chicago, New York, and Milan.
